Welcome to Managing Coastal Change
The Managing Coastal Change project’s main focus is to work with farmers to explore what they need to help them adapt to change on the coast.
About the project
Sea level rise, climate change and changing policy are the main items we need to think about when considering how farming will need to adapt on the coast.
We hope to encourage farmers to work together with their neighbours to put in place action plans that will enable them to have an economically viable future.
The project will provide farmers with the necessary guidance to find practicable solutions in the face of sea level rise, climate change and changing policy. This will mean working with key stakeholders to provide guidance on how land managers can go about making changes that will be supported.
Why do I need to adapt?
